The Town of Cambridge continue to support the Club. We were successful in securing a Community Organisation Support Grant of $2,000 which assisted us in upgrading our shade Cloth.
This came at a good time as the Bowls pennant season was about to start. There have also been many people bowling socially as part of their Christmas functions. The Club has also started a casual Tuesday afternoon at 5.30pm social Sunset bowls. The new green has been well utilised!
We thank volunteers Bill, Max and Robert who assisted in painting the poles blue to match our new shade cloth.
We are also very excited for the future of the Club. Currently architectural concepts for future development of our Club rooms are being drawn up. We are hopeful in the not too distant future the Club will have accessible bathrooms etc. We know there are many patrons who have been asking of this for quite some time.
